
According to Enfodesk released by Analysys International, transaction value of China B2C market reached 47.07 Billion Yuan in Q1, 2011. B2C transaction value of clothing realized 8.53 billion Yuan in Q1.
Analysys International holds that a slow-down in the market is mainly due to seasonal factors. Before the Spring Festival, the boom of B2C online orders resulted over-storage in the warehouse and reduced order processing efficiency. During the Spring Festival, many B2C websites’ traffic went down alarmingly and the orders shrank because employees were on holidays.
In the review of the whole market, the transaction of electronic products was fairly stable, while that of clothing is significantly affected. The statistics showed that the transaction value of B2C clothing in Q1, 2011 hit 8.53 Billion Yuan, with a sequential growth rate being 1.2%.
